The following is a listing of some of sugar’s metabolic consequences from a variety of medical journals and other scientific publications.
Sugar can suppress your immune system and impair your defenses against infectious disease.
Sugar upsets the mineral relationships in your body: causes chromium and copper deficiencies and interferes with absorption of calcium and magnesium.
Sugar can cause can cause a rapid rise of adrenaline, hyperactivity, anxiety, difficulty concentrating, and crankiness in children.
Sugar can produce a significant rise in total cholesterol, triglycerides and bad cholesterol and a decrease in good cholesterol.
Sugar causes a loss of tissue elasticity and function.
Sugar feeds cancer cells and has been connected with the development of cancer of the breast, ovaries, prostate, rectum, pancreas, biliary tract, lung, gallbladder and stomach.
Sugar can increase fasting levels of glucose and can cause reactive hypoglycemia.
Sugar can weaken eyesight.
Sugar can cause many problems with the gastrointestinal tract including: an acidic digestive tract, indigestion, malabsorption in patients with functional bowel disease, increased risk of Crohn’s disease, and ulcerative colitis.
Sugar can cause premature aging.

Cloves are the grand champion antioxidant. They are the highest rated, by ORAC scale , of any food on the planet. There is a great deal of publicity on the subject of the highest rated antioxidant and rarely is this spice even mentioned. So I thought it a good idea to set the record straight. This spice is number 1 and cinnamon is number two. The champion was declared in the USDA database for the Oxygen Radical Absorbency Capacity Report (ORAC).
The highest publicized super foods like acai, goji, mangosteen and don't even come close. Cloves have been used for 1000's of years as a spice and are nothing new to the chefs of the world.
This plant is grown and harvested mainly in Indonesia, Madagascar and India. The tree is an evergreen and the flowers when harvested are a bright red. Cloves contain a variety of flavonoids (antioxidants) the main two are kaempferol and rhamnetin,. Another primary component is Eugenol which functions as a strong anti-inflammatory. It is also classified as a nutrient dense food, putting it in the super food category. It is also unique in that it is high in omega 3 fatty acids. kaempferol and rhamnetin,
. Highest antioxidant power (free radical killer)
. Pain relief especially in the dental field.
. Prevention of toxicity such as carbon tetrachloride.
. Helps prevent digestive tract cancers
. Helps with joint inflammation and pain.
. Anti Inflammatory
. Combined with other omega 3 fatty acids such as cod liver oil it can reduce inflammation by up to 30% more than cloves alone.
. Can be used as a mosquito repellent.
. Relieves gas and bloating
. Relieves nausea and vomiting during pregnancy
. Relieves nausea during chemotherapy
. Clean wounds, scratches and abrasions
. Mixed in water as an antiseptic mouthwash
The two primary antioxidants kaempferol and rhamnetin found in the spice are also found in other plant species. For example kaempferol has a high concentration in green tea another powerful and much more researched antioxidant. Kampferol has been found to be a very effective scavenger of certain free radicals which have names to long and too complicated to pronounce or remember. Kampferol is also highly anti-bacterial.
For it's high orac value alone this spice should be a part or everyone's diet or supplementation plan. Antioxidants have been shown in study after study to be responsible for the prevention of heart disease, cancer and stroke. Just the anti-inflammatory power can be used by arthritis patients to ease joint pain. And inflammation.

Our life, our planet. Over 70% of the earth's surface is water. However, most of it-98%--is salt water. Only 2% of the earth's H20 is fresh water that we can drink, and of this, almost all is trapped in frozen glaciers.
You are not just what you eat; you are what you drink.
This is why water is so important to your health.
We can all change the way we drink - by drinking pure, natural water that is good for our health, our pocket book, and our environment.
Water is the basis of all life and that includes your body. Your muscles that move your body are 75% water; your blood that transport nutrients is 82% water; your lungs that provide your oxygen are 90% water; your brain that is the control center of your body is 76% water; even your bones are 25% water.
Our health is truly dependent on the quality and quantity of the water we drink.
Unintentional Chronic Dehydration (UCD) contributes to and even produces pain and many degenerative diseases that can be prevented and treated by increasing water intake on a regular basis.
If you are committed to a healthy lifestyle, make drinking enough natural water a habit in your life. It won't take long for you to feel the benefit.
It is a free investment for your long-term health. More
BENTONITE CLAY is of the smectite class of clay, a swelling clay, that has long been referred to as "healing clay" due to its powerful drawing and absorptive capabilities.
Intrinsically woven into the healing practices of ancient cultures around the world including Australian Aborigines, American Indians, Andean natives, ancient Chinese and Eygptians, pelotherapy (the practice of healing with earth) may be the best, economical and safest solution to healing our toxic world within and without.
Active clays are comprised of naturally deep cleansing minerals widely used throughout history to promote and support healthy looking skin. There are literally hundreds of different clays around the world and each deposit is unique. Common applications range from facials to complete immersion in a clay bath. Including footbaths, full body wraps, foot-wraps and topical application.
Australian Healing Clays are active clays which are selected for their purity, mineral make up and absorptive qualities. Mined in pristine Australian bushland and dried in the sun, our clays are guaranteed chemical free and contain no emulsifiers or dissolving agents. They have powerful drawing and absorptive properties. A fine smooth texture that leaves your skin feeling healthy and refreshed. Australian Healing Clays are equal in quality to the finest healing clays used worldwide.
"What takes place is actually an ion exchange which is often described as a magnetic or drawing effect.
Balneology: "The science of baths or bathing, especially the study of the therapeutic use of mineral baths in the treatment of various maladies."
For centuries the benefits of therapeutic bathing have been recognized throughout Europe & Asia for the ability to relieve pain and improve the general well being of the body and the spirit. Balneotherapy is one of the oldest natural health practices; historically people have flocked to luxury spas for recreation and treatment.
A major channel of elimination is through the sweat glands, the pores of the skin. Clays drawing and absorptive properties can assist the body in its quest to maintain optimal health. Immersing oneself fully in a warm clay bath relaxes muscles and opens the pores of the skin, allowing clay to absorb impurities and unhealthy pollutants.
In "Energy to Heal", by Wendell Hoffman through his own research, Hoffman found that a pure high grade Bentonite used in a bath can actually draw out many pollutants through the pores of the skin. After many experiments, he concluded that optimum results are obtained by immersing oneself in a tub of very warm water mixed with very pure Bentonite clay for 20 minutes. Not just any clay will do though. It is crucial to use "clean clay"!
The skin is "the largest eliminative organ of the human body". It has the largest surface area
of all the organs.
How does healing clay work? The positives about negatives!
Ad sorption & Ab sorption
The words adsorption and absorption sound similar but are fundamentally different in the functions they represent..
Adsorption describes how clay is able to attach to other substances. The clay molecule can perhaps be pictured as a stack of business cards with space between them. Around the edge of these cards is a negative electrical charge of unsatisfied ionic bonds. These ions naturally seek to be satisfied and therefore when in contact with substances that carry the opposite (positive) electrical charge an ion exchange takes place.
Pollutants and toxic substances carry a positive electrical charge.
Absorption is the when clay swells and is stretched open like a highly porous sponge, drawing pollutants and toxins etc. into its internal structure, literally locking them away.
The greater the surface area the greater the power to pick up positively charged particles .
According to Robert T. Martins, B.S.,a mineralogist University of Minnesota; Ph.D., Cornell University and Mineralogist at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the molecular surface of one gram (1/28th of an ounce ) of Bentonite Clay has a surface area of 800 sq. meters
Not all clays are the same though and not all clays can achieve the same results.
Ran Knishinsky "The Clay Cure" writes " I have seen a variety of bentonite clays where each one looked, felt , tasted , and acted different from others. They did so because they were not the same clays"
Bentonite's value lies in its fine molecular particle size and very loosely bound ions that are easily exchangeable.
Point of interest: Russian scientists used clay to protect their bodies from radiation when working with nuclear material. Because it adsorbs radiation so well, Bentonite Clay was the material chosen to dump into the Chernobyl reactors after the nuclear meltdown.
Just about all minerals and vitamins come from clays.all animals in nature use clays to cleanse, remove toxins and parasites and keep their bodies in tune.
How tuned.is your body?
Time to look on the inside to see what is effecting the .outside.
